Casey-Bertram helped to seperate and remove part of an apartment complex that was ravaged by an early morning fire in West Lafayette, IN. Our crews first seperated the damaged units from the existing units to remain by using boomlifts and handtools to create a gap of approximately 6 feet. An excavator was then brought in to demolish the damaged part of the structure. The apartment complex is built upon an underground parking garage running the entire length of the building so the excavator was equipped with a 20' stick to help sweep debris towards the machine that could then be picked up and loaded out.
