Casey-Bertram was called to the scene of one of Sheridan, Indiana's largest fires, that had destroyed a 122-year-old historical building. The building caught fire and collaped and sent debris tumbling into the building across the street. Casey-Bertram helped to secure the site for fire personell and safely brought down an unsupported brick wall. After the fire investigation had been completed, Casey-Bertram returned to the site to remove the debris and bring the site back to street grade.
